Saucony Saddles Up With the Space Cowboy Collection

Saucony is heading out west. Its Space Cowboy collection lands this Friday, taking five of the brand's best-known silhouettes and dressing them up for the ranch, with a healthy dose of chrome to keep things firmly out of this world.

The collection first surfaced at a preview in Paris and has been on plenty of radars ever since. The idea is simple enough: sport-inspired design meets Western styling, with premium materials and cowboy-core details layered on top of Saucony's performance tech.

A Closer Look at the Saucony Space Cowboy Collection...

The Heritage Runners

The ProGrid Triumph 4 is the loudest of the bunch. Chrome leather overlays wrap the upper, broken up by brindle, cowhide-style panels and brown leather, so it lands somewhere between a rodeo and a rocket launch.

The ProGrid V2 dials the silver down and turns the tan up, pairing rich orange-brown leather with a white base and cowhide-style panels around the heel.

Then there's the 586i, the odd one out. It swaps the metallics for black leather, Western-inspired stitching and a strap across the tongue, all sat on a brown sole. Of the five, it's the pair that looks most at home next to a pair of boots.

The Endorphins

Saucony hasn't left its modern running line out either. The Endorphin Azura and Endorphin Elite 3 bring the theme to the performance side, mixing white and black bases with brown and tan brindle accents.

The Campaign

The campaign leans all the way in: pickup trucks, a scrapyard full of chrome, bolo ties and a leather cowboy hat or two.
