adidas is bringing back a true piece of basketball history with the re-release of the Jabbar sneaker, a nod to the legendary Kareem Abdul-Jabbar.

Back in 1978, this sneaker made history as the first to ever show off an athlete’s face, making waves in both sports and sneaker culture. Now in 2024, adidas is giving a nod to Kareem Abdul-Jabbar’s legacy with a fresh re-release of the Jabbar – OG Royal Blue in both Hi and Low styles.

The original design was ahead of its time, featuring clean lines, premium materials, and a silhouette that was both stylish and functional. The 2024 re-release stays true to this timeless design. The smooth leather upper gives the shoe a sleek, classic look, while the grey suede toe cap adds texture and durability.
