New Balance Celebrated the London Marathon with a Special-Edition 1500 Sneaker

In honour of the 2025 London Marathon last weekend, New Balance has unveiled a limited-edition version of its legendary 1500 sneaker, designed to capture the essence of the race and the spirit of London. New Balance has handcrafted the 1500 ‘London Marathon’ at its renowned Flimby factory in the UK, making it a premium piece.

The special-edition 1500 features a striking colourway of grey, red, and black, combining luxury materials with athletic performance. The upper features black suede and breathable mesh, while reflective grey accents boost both the shoe’s aesthetic and its visibility for runners.

As a nod to the marathon, New Balance replaces the traditional ‘1500’ branding with bold red ‘LDN’ embroidery on the side, honouring London’s marathon legacy. The shoe’s tricolour ‘N’ logo and marathon-themed insoles further complete the design, adding a personal touch to this unique iteration of the classic runner.
