Liverpool FC and adidas Join the SPZL F.C. Club

Liverpool FC is the latest club to get the SPZL F.C. treatment. The new capsule sits right between adidas Originals and adidas Football, mixing the club's identity with the terrace-ready look Gary Aspden's Spezial line is known for.

It follows similar SPZL F.C. drops for Arsenal and Manchester United, and it's out now.

A Closer Look at the Liverpool FC x adidas SPZL F.C. Collection...

The headline piece is a red short-sleeved jersey with a V-neck collar, three stripes on the shoulders and bold SPZL branding across the chest. A Liver bird and adidas SPZL F.C. detailing finish it off, giving it a proper retro matchday feel.

For the colder months, there's a grey track top with matching track pants, both picked out with red accents and co-branded LFC and SPZL F.C. details. A grey polo rounds out the apparel.

A Trainer With Local Roots

On the footwear side, the collection brings the Kirkdale II (KK0762). It's a fresh take on the original Kirkdale, one of the early SPZL releases, which was named after an area of Liverpool and has become a highly sought-after pair since.

This version keeps things soft with an Orbit Grey palette and LFC detailing, tying the shoe even closer to the city and the club it's named after.

Shot at Anfield

The campaign was shot at Anfield and stars Florian Wirtz and Fuka Nagano from the men's and women's first teams, alongside Liverpool legend Steve McManaman.
