Concepts x Nike SB Holy Grail Pack – A First Look

The CONCEPTS X NIKE SB HOLY GRAIL PACK includes a trio of very different, but equally colourful, silhouettes.

The STEFAN JANOSKI MAX sports a cracked leather upper that combines red on the toe, orange ankle collar, green heel and blue overlay and tongue. If that wasn’t enough, then further contrast is provided by white on the trim around the overlay and Swoosh, as well as a gold outline around the Swoosh, laces and tongue label branding. Underneath, a white sole unit ties in with the details on the upper, whilst at the same time allowing the upper to really pop. The DUNK HIGH goes in a very different direction with an upper that looks somewhat-like a stained glass window. The pattern is broken up by a black patent swoosh, textile tongue and traditional style laces. The upper is rounded off by the clear overlay: a very unusual style that ties in nicely with the window theme. Down below, the white midsole and black outsole tie nicely into the upper, whilst still allowing the upper to hold your attention. Rounding out the pack is the DUNK LOW that sports an iridescent upper that changes colour depending on how the light catches it. Contrast is provided by a blue tongue on the left foot and red on the right, as well as a satin silver quilted lining. Sat below is a clean white midsole and icy outsole, that works perfectly with the upper. Final details include gold skull lace jewels and custom printed insoles sporting a rabbit and skull grapic. CONCEPTS have a reputation for coming up with creative packaging when they collaborate with NIKE SB, think back to the trio of ‘Lobster’ colourways… well this time is no different. Alongside custom printed cardboard boxes are a wooden box, with hidden lock combination and a genuine concrete box. We have to admit that we’re not quite sure where the HOLY GRAIL element comes into it, but at the end of the day it’s what the shoe looks like that is the main thing… and there’s no denying that these are going to turn heads!

The CONCEPTS X NIKE SB HOLY GRAIL PACK is scheduled to drop at CONCEPTS on Saturday 25 July before the DUNK HIGH and JANOSKI MAX get their European drop on 14 August.
