Willy Chavarria Brings Three New Megarides to adidas Originals This Autumn

Willy Chavarria isn't done with adidas Originals just yet. The designer is back for autumn with a full apparel and footwear drop that digs into '90s sportswear, blowing up the proportions and layering everything the way only he really does.

It's the latest chapter in a partnership that's kept busy. Last year brought an SS25 collection and two takes on the Jabbar Lo, spring 2026 delivered the 'Love Prevails' collection with its rose-covered Superstar, and the Megaride has already had a Copa Mundial makeover. This time, the Megaride takes centre stage with three new versions, backed by a full line of clothing.

A Closer Look at the adidas Originals x Willy Chavarria Collection...

The Footwear

Three Megarides make up the footwear side. The Mega Willy Low comes in two colourways, Black and Agave, while the Willy Mega Mid arrives in Black. All three keep the Megaride's sculpted, cage-like build, and Chavarria's name turns up in bold red lettering, on the insole of the Black pairs and across the side of the Agave.

Having both a low and a mid cut is a smart move. One sits closer to sportswear heritage, the other leans harder into street style, and you can pick whichever suits your rotation.

The Apparel

Everything on the clothing side runs roomy. The Chavarria Track Jacket and Track Pant come in black with red 3-Stripes, and the jacket carries a big red rose and Chavarria script across the back. The Dazzle Short and Dazzle LS Jersey stick to the same relaxed fit, while the Dark Rose Tee brings back his familiar rose iconography.

The most personal piece is the Chavarria Chicano Sweatshirt. Its red, white and green panels reference the Mexican flag and the designer's Mexican-American roots, with 'Chicano' spelled out across the chest.
