The Travis Scott x Nike Mac Attack ‘Light Smoke Grey’ (HF4198-001) is releasing Holiday season 2023 after months of anticipation. The pair is being revived and reintroduced to the masses after it first debuted in 1984 when it was originally designed for the tennis player John McEnroe. Paying tribute to McEnroe’s signature shoe, the Travis Scott x Nike Mac Attack intentionally resembles the silhouette’s original colorway. 

 

The upper is made with a Grey leather base and Black accents, which are seen not only on the mesh insert along the toe but also on the leathers that wrap the collar, and lower heel. The iconic backwards (or reverse) Travis Swoosh which is also outfitted in Black, is the highlight of the design and a key Travis Scott x Nike identifier. The “Cactus Jack” logo is embroidered onto the shoe’s back with a matching neutral thread, while the woven label and “NIKE” further mirror the OG.
