Amongst many collaborations done by adidas throughout the years, the South Park x adidas must be one of the most awaited for by the sitcom's fans. As expected, the South Park x adidas NMD_R1 'Kenny' design was highly appreciated as it was inspired by one of the main characters, and an even more interesting design is depicted in the South Park X adidas Campus 80s 'Towelie' which brings the beloved character to life.

The 'Towelie' silhouette features a shaggy towel-like fabric upper in a lavender hue. The iconic three lateral stripes are made of white leather and the white heel tab is branded in purple writing. The attention to detail is impressive in this collaboration as even the aglets of the matching purple laces come in two tones, white and yellow matching the character's socks and shoes. The tongue is the most sensational part of the sneaker as it features Towelie's eyes and eyebrows which change shape and colour when exposed to UV light, from normal white to half-shut red eyes, referring to the alternating state of the character during the series. The inside of each tongue is dressed with velcro stash pouches and two of the most famous catchphrases of the character 'Don't forget to bring a towel' and 'I have no idea what is going on'. The design is completed by a white midsole and classic white Campus 80 outsole while the inner soles are branded with the logos of both collaborators in white. 

The sneaker comes in a special box branded with South Park scenery and characters and two keychains in the shape of Towelie.
