The Sacai x Nike collaboration is known for the double elements in the shoes. This is again seen across the Nike Cortez 4.0. The upper combines different shades of grey. The bottom is covered with grey nylon. On the middle panel is a white leather Swoosh with a double printed black Swoosh. The nose pads and eye pads are made of grey suede. The heel has a double layer of suede, one white and one grey.
 
The collar of this pair is also double-layered, revealing an additional piece of tongue, lining and heel tab in a lighter shade of grey. The Cortez 4.0 also gets an improved sole. The midsole comes in grey and off-white with cushioned Zoom Air unit. A black outsole completes the design.
