The upper of the 920 is mainly made of mesh in grey. The mesh that is used is very coarse. Above this are leather and suede overlays. The leather overlays are a dark brown colour and the suede overlays are a lighter brown. The lighter colour surrounds the grey 'N' on the side. The tongue features the New Balance branding with 'Made In England' and Patta's signature 'P' underneath. Patta branding can also be found on the heel. The name of the Amsterdam-based brand is embroidered in a beige colour.
