In 2022, Nike went full on the hype behind the Dunk. In May 2022, the Nike Dunk Low 'Valerian Blue' (DD1391-400) was released. On this sneaker the three colours of the American flag are combined, namely white, dark blue and red. 
 
The upper of this Dunk is covered in smooth leather. The toebox, laces, tongue and centre panel are completely white. Darker shades of valerian blue can be found on the mudguards, laces, Swoosh, heel, heel tab and collar. The sneaker also features red detailing on the branding on the heel and the tongue label. Finally, the model has a white midsole with a blue outsole, which nicely matches the colours on the upper.
