Introducing the Nike Zoom Pegasus
The Nike Zoom Pegasus is a cornerstone of Nike's running shoe lineup, celebrated for its combination of performance, comfort, and versatility. First launched in 1983, it was Nike’s inaugural mid-priced running shoe featuring pressurised Air technology, designed to give everyday runners advanced cushioning without a premium price.
Over the years, the Pegasus has seen numerous iterations, each refining its key features. The latest model, the Pegasus 41, introduces a full-length ReactX foam midsole—the first time this foam has appeared in the Pegasus series. ReactX foam delivers 13% more energy return than its predecessor, Nike React foam, and is engineered to reduce its carbon footprint by at least 43% through more efficient production processes.
The Pegasus 41 also incorporates dual Air Zoom units in the forefoot and heel, providing responsive cushioning and a smooth heel-to-toe transition.
