The Nike Air Zoom G.T. Cut 3 is the third edition of Nike's Greater Than (G.T.) series, which launched in 2021 to deliver specialized performance enhancements for basketball players. Released in January 2024, the G.T. Cut 3 brings innovative technology to the court as the first Nike basketball shoe with a full-length ZoomX foam midsole.
Originally developed for Nike's running lineup, ZoomX foam provides outstanding energy return and a lightweight feel, helping players accelerate and change direction with exceptional speed.
Built for agility, the G.T. Cut 3 features a lightweight textile upper reinforced with Flywire cables to secure the forefoot during fast movements. A TPU wrap around the lateral sidewall adds stability, while the outsole incorporates modified herringbone pods strategically positioned using pressure mapping to deliver optimal traction where it’s most needed.
