Introducing the Nike Air Max Zero
The Nike Air Max Zero is a landmark model in the Air Max series, embodying designer Tinker Hatfield’s original vision of visible Air cushioning from 1985. Although it was never released at that time due to technological constraints, it paved the way for the iconic Air Max 1, which debuted in 1987.
The Air Max Zero features a lightweight textile upper paired with a Phylon sole and visible Nike Air cushioning, creating a minimalist yet futuristic look. Officially released on March 26, 2015, during Air Max Day, the model marked an important milestone in Nike’s history. Its innovative design and historical significance have made the Air Max Zero a collector’s favourite and a testament to Nike’s commitment to pushing the boundaries of sneaker design.
