Introducing the Nike Air Max 270
Also referred to as the Nike 270 or Nike Air 270, the Air Max 270 was Nike’s first lifestyle sneaker to feature an Air unit and drew inspiration from several models in the Air Max archive.
Its oversized Air unit takes cues from the Air Max 93, which featured a 270-degree visible Air unit - a detail that also inspired the model’s name, as “270” was an internal Nike nickname for the Air Max 93. With a 32mm heel, the Air Max 270 boasted the largest Air unit of any Nike Air Max until the introduction of the Air Max 720.
While designed primarily for casual wear, the Air Max 270 also prioritizes performance, delivering comfort for everything from errands to treadmill workouts.
The sneaker features a woven and synthetic textile upper for a lightweight feel, a foam midsole for cushioning, and rubber outsoles for durability. Mesh panels enhance breathability, and a padded lining ensures a comfortable fit throughout the day.
