The New Balance 327

Shaking off the 'Dad Shoe' vibe that many of New Balance's models have, the NB327 has a lightweight, retro design that has become one of the brand's most popular silhouettes in recent years.
Inspired by 1970's models, the oversized "N" logo and retro feel ensured the sneakers were an instant hit when they first released.
A thick midsole and adaptive cushioning provide excellent comfort and stability, and have caused the model to be picked up not just by athletes and runners, but by the casual wearer as an everyday lifestyle sneaker.

New Balance 327 Collaborations

Released as a collab with Size? in June 2020, the NB327 dropped in two bright coloured colorways of red/yellow/green and red/purple/tan, and were instantly a hit for their bold palette.
Levi's also collaborated on the model in November 2020, a dark 'Indigo' and grey denim design dropping on a men's version, and a light denim dropping for women.
Other collabs with the brand by Casablanca, MADNESS and Staud have also increased the popularity of the versatile model.

Inspired by the archive

Designer of the New Balance 327, Charlotte Lee, drew her inspiration from several different models in the New Balance archive.
In particular, the New Balance 320 and the Super Comp provided a lot of ground work for the new model, both released in the 1970s.
Pigskin leather suede overlays, nylon base material, and studded rubber outsoles made up the construction of the NB327, with some later versions featuring premium leather. The asymmetrical midsole, toebox detail and studded outsole were all borrowed from retro models.
