The ASICS Sportstyle GT-2160 represents a contemporary revival of a relatively obscure model from the GT-2000 family.
First released in 2011 as the GT-2160, it stood out as the lightest stability runner in its range, equipped with dual GEL cushioning units and ASICS’ DuoMax support system to assist overpronation. In its Sportstyle iteration, the design fully embraces the early-2010s tech-runner vibe: a wavy, segmented midsole, visible GEL inserts, and layered mesh and synthetic uppers reminiscent of industrial textures and oxidised metal.
