In 2023, the iconic Air Jordan 8 ‘Playoffs’ is set to make a retro comeback, paying homage to Michael Jordan's memorable Game 6 appearance during the 1993 NBA Finals. This colourway, last seen in 2013, maintains its classic ‘Black/True Red’ scheme. 

The retro edition faithfully preserves the original design, featuring distinctive graphic overlays on the mudguards and a vibrant multicolour rubber outsole. Notably, it reintroduces the OG Red pull tabs instead of the Black ones used in the previous retro release. This anticipated return of the classic silhouette is a nod to a pivotal moment in Jordan's career, marking the Bulls' first three-peat NBA Championship and his third consecutive Finals MVP award.
