The Jordan 12 Retro Playoff makes its comeback in 2022 and has a special backstory. The name of the model refers to the 1996-1997 NBA season of the Chicago Bulls. During this season, Michael Jordan was seen wearing the Air Jordan 12 in the black and white colorway. This pair was designed by Tinker Hatfield and was re-released in 2004 and 2012 in the 'Playoff' colourway. In 2022 the model will celebrate its 25th anniversary and the colorway 'Playoff' will be re-released. 

The sneaker has a black leather upper. The nose is made of white lizard leather and gives the Jordan 12 a chic look. The silver eyestays on the laces also match the black and white upper. On the tongue, the Jumpman logo is stitched in red and on the heel, Michael's player number returns. The pair stays close to the design of his previous variants and has a clean look.
