After two decades of selling top brands like Nike and New Balance, sneaker-boutique AFEW decided to take the leap and create their own shoe. The Yamasura Runner 'Soil', released in July 2021, was Afew Goods (AFEW's independent brand) very first sneaker. 

The 'Soil' took inspiration from many things that were dear to the design team. Combining streetwear and sustainability, the midsole was designed around the look of the twin radiators on the side of Ferrari’s Testarossa, giving the sneaker a nostalgic 80s/90s feel, and was made from BLOOM Algae EVA foam. Vegan materials like suede, nubuck and mesh were sourced sustainably from around Europe and coupled with a recycled PU sole.
