For this forthcoming edition of the classic Air Jordan 1, Nike has gone back to the classic colour combination of black and yellow – well, Pollen/Black-White, if you want to be accurate. We’ve seen other classic Nike models drop in similar combinations, such as the Black and Varsity Maize ‘Be True to Your School’ Dunk High (AKA the Goldenrod) from 1985 or the semi-mythological Wu-Tang Dunk High from 1999 (which was produced in a run of 36 pairs only), so it’s no surprise that the colours look particularly well-suited to the Jordan 1.
