Nike is ushering in a new era of Air. After nearly a decade, the Swoosh is returning to its old traditions. For the first time since the Air Max 2017, we are once again getting a silhouette named after its release year. We now have the first look at the Nike Air Max 2026 ‘Black/Blue/White’ for you, and we reckon these definitely show a lot of promise.

So, it is time for a new Air Max model! The foundation of the new Air Max 2026 is heavily influenced by the popular Pegasus Premium, a performance running shoe released in early 2025 that quickly crossed over into the casual lifestyle scene. We also spot subtle nods to other beloved classics, such as the Zoom Vomero 5 and the P-6000. From a distance, the upper appears rather suede-heavy, but looks can be deceiving.
The debut colorway features blue, white, and black with subtle accents as well as some neon green here and there. The panels on the upper consist of a super-lightweight, breathable mesh, reinforced by an internal, fused cage for extra structure and support. This is a technique you might recognise from the Nike Free Run 2 design.
The biggest eye-catcher, of course, can be found underneath. The striking midsole houses an updated, prominent Air unit encapsulated within a comfortable dual-density foam. To top off that retro feel, Nike has opted for a distinctive speckled finish on the sole.

Make sure to keep an eye on our news to stay ahead of the game with the official release date and all the latest drops for this new Nike Air Max 2026 silhouette.
