VandyThePink, ASICS, and atmos Bring the Heat with GEL-Nimbus 10.1 Collab

Korean streetwear label VandyThePink is back with another food-inspired footwear drop — this time teaming up with ASICS and atmos to serve up two delicious colourways of the GEL-Nimbus 10.1. Dubbed ‘Banana’ and ‘Strawberry,’ the sneakers are a playful nod to the charm of a retro ice cream parlour.

The vibrant duo was first teased at atmosCon in Japan and will make its debut during a special, RSVP-only pop-up in New York on Saturday, May 24, 2025. The exact location? Still under wraps until the day before the event — adding a bit of mystery to the hype.

ASICS has been on a roll in 2025, with standout collabs like the recent Story mfg. gingham release, the sleek JJJJound x GEL-QUANTUM 360, and a delicate drop with Cecilie Bahnsen. This latest release with VandyThePink proves once again that ASICS knows how to pick the perfect partners.

Both the ‘Banana’ and ‘Strawberry’ designs feature pastel hues, fuzzy laces reminiscent of whipped cream, and shiny silver accents, perfectly capturing VandyThePink’s whimsical, dessert-themed aesthetic. Fans of the brand will remember its 2024 Salomon collab centred around burgers — and now, it’s time to round off the meal with something sweet.
