The Salomon XT-Whisper Gets an Embroidery Edition

Salomon has introduced a new Embroidery version of the XT-Whisper silhouette in three colourways for spring. The Salomon XT-Whisper Embroidery ‘Almond Cream’, ‘Pearl Blue’ and ‘Deep Lichen Green’.

The XT-Whisper silhouette was first reintroduced by Salomon in 2025. Originally debuting in the early 2000s, the sneaker returned to the market more than 20 years later due to renewed popularity. The XT-Whisper is a shoe designed at its core for hiking but worn as a lifestyle sneaker.

The sporty silhouette features a construction of mesh and suede, paired with a Contagrip outsole that provides reliable traction. Unlike many of Salomon’s trail-focused designs, the updated XT-Whisper was created with a more street-oriented approach in mind.

Now, in 2026, the brand presents the XT-Whisper Embroidery in three new colourways. As the name suggests, the highlight is the embroidered detailing across the upper. The colour palette of the three versions also signals the start of the spring season.

We think: The XT-Whisper Embroidery carries the energy of spring and summer in a still playful yet subtle design. We see two-tone mesh and suede details that create a dynamic overall look. The newly refined embroidery also adds a great touch of elegance that reflects the character of the season.
