The Northern Lights Reach the New Balance 860v2

Championing its nostalgically modern 860v2 silhouette, New Balance debuts their latest venture, the ‘Northern Lights’ Pack. 

If you didn’t catch the northern lights last week, we’re sorry about that. However, not all is lost, as New Balance is cooking up a trilogy of electric sneakers to light up your world. Sure, they might not be a once-in-a-lifetime experience like what the sky showed us on 11th May, but they’re pretty phenomenal nevertheless. And if the rest of the Boston-based brand’s impressive roster is anything to go by, then just like the Northern Lights, they’ll be difficult to come across a second time round. Let’s see what the hype is about!

A Closer Look at the New Balance 860v2 ‘Northern Lights’ Pack…

As per the silhouette, honeycomb-mesh uppers dress the exterior the upper, with each iteration sharing a predominantly white base. A shiny metallic theme garnishes the detailing for that retro-futurism feel, laying the perfect foundation for colourful hits to enter within the midsection and midsole accents. Utilising shades of ‘Arctic Grey’, ‘Rosewood’ and ‘Mallard Green’ as a shining light to each sneaker (pardon the pun), these stealthy kicks do more by doing less. 

Seamlessly capturing the essence of Aurora Borealis, whilst staying true to the pioneering steez of the 860v2, this capsule is certainly a sight to behold!
