The Nike Air Max gets immersive | Fortnight x Airphoria

The Nike universe expands with the never-before-seen realm of AIRPHORIA, accessed only within Fortnight.

Building on a dynamic partnership with Nike and Epic Games, Airphoria is a unique interactive experience intended to immerse players into a multiverse of sports and gaming culture. Within this Fortnight collaboration, players are transported to an Air Max-themed dimension, unbound by physical limitations and convention. Championing the freedom of self-expression and creativity, Airphoria will plunge players into an immersive sneaker hunt, exploring the fundamental elements of the Air Max through limitless imagination.

Airphoria City is built on the existence of the iconic Air Max models that we all know and love, including the Air Max 1 OG, Air Max 97, Air Max TW, Air Max Scorpion and Air Max Pulse. Each representing a time in history, these classic models collectively maintain balance amongst the City, allowing it to exist in “Air State”. Featuring two main characters named Airre and Maxxed-Out Max, players are able to purchase the duo’s outfits within the Fortnite Item Shop to bring a piece of Airphoria to their own digital persona.
