Revealed as the third colourway to boast a chunky reimagining, we introduce a dusty pink Nike Air Max 90.
After rumoured news of this distinctive adaptation to the iconic Swoosh model, we’ve seen two colourways come out of the woodworks so far. Previously showcasing a classic ‘Infrared’ fashioning and entirely neutral exterior, the latest model to join the double-stacked-hype dons a tonal concoction of dusty pink hues. Let’s take a look at the details!
The upper of this iteration pays homage to Tinker Hatfield’s original design, staying true to its roots while incorporating distinctive alterations. Refreshed detailing like the leather tongue label and concealed stitching on the mudguard inject a premium feel into the exterior, complimenting the unique persona of the sneaker. Special branding replaces the conventional “Nike Air” text on the heel, solely depicting the word “AIR” below two lines.
Underfoot, we have an enlarged midsole – and in fact, ‘enlarged’ might just be an understatement. Of course, a lower this big requires double the technology; enter the double Air unit for a structural and visual steez. The silhouette leans on a gum outsole, a favoured choice that injects nostalgia into this contemporary offering.
The Swoosh are yet to confirm a release date for this double-stacked Nike Air Max 90. So, make sure you’re locked to our socials @thedropdate for the latest updates, as and when we have ‘em.
