UPDATE 18/06/24: adidas and JJJJound officially announce the release of their latest collection around the Samba model. To present this in style, the campaign for the drop stars none other than football legend José Mourinho. Yep, they’ve really pulled out the stops for this one!

The JJJound x adidas Samba ‘Mesa’ (ID8709) and the accompanying apparel collection is set to drop on THURSDAY 27TH JUNE 2024 via ADIDAS CONFIRMED, JJJJOUND & SELECTED RETAILERS. UPDATE 09/04/24: Releasing their first round of sneakers at the end of March 2024, the JJJJound and adidas Samba streak isn’t over just yet. A new furry ‘Mesa’ palette has emerged, anticipated for a release in this June 2024. Boasting a distressed suede upper, this textured offering arrives alongside a selection of streamlined apparel.

After lots of speculation and waiting around, JJJJound and adidas have finally spilled the beans in… it’s official! The mystery sneaker, boasting the signature understated style synonymous with JJJJound, is in-fact the highly anticipated JJJJound x adidas Samba OG. Set to drop in two colourways on 27TH MARCH 2024, get ready to cop the heat.

Straight outta Montreal, Justin Saunders (better known as JJJJound), has been making waves since ’06. Starting as a digital moodboard, the design studio has become the go-to for slick, understated offerings. Collaborating with big dogs like New Balance, ASICS, and Salomon, so it was only a matter of time before they hooked up with the Three-Stripes.

For their first joint venture, JJJJound has decided to put their spin on the classic Samba OG. Originally built for indoor footy, the Samba OG quickly became a lifestyle staple. Now, with the Canada-based studio’s magic touch, it’s getting a fresh makeover that blends timeless cool with modern flair.

They’re dropping two killer colourways – one in crisp white, the other in sleek black, both flaunting subtle gold accents that speak for themselves. Staying authentic to the model’s heritage, the label is keeping things low-key and classy, letting the quality do the talking.
