A Closer Look at the Needles x ASICS GEL-NYC ‘Black’ (1201B008-001)…

Previously collaborating on the ASICS EX89 in October of last year, the duo championed the fashion label’s signature purple hue throughout detailing. The GEL-NYC at hand leads with an intricate black exterior, injecting vibrant purple hits into the laces, stitching and co-branding. Composed from tumbled leather and canvas, the shoe exudes sophisticated steez for versatile and effective styling.

Co-branding comes in clutch on the tongue, with each collaborator separately adopting each sneaker. Looking towards the back, Needles’ synonymous butterfly emblem proudly graces the heel in its reigning purple hue.
