The END. x adidas Originals ‘Fly Fishing’ Collection is Off the Hook

Continuing on in the legacy of their collaborative relationship, END. x adidas Originals are back with an all-new venture, surrounding the cult hobby of Fly Fishing.

Defined as ‘a skilled motion that includes specific timing and practice’, the activity is continually growing in popularity as Millennial and Gen-Z anglers switch off from technology, and embrace nature. And of course, what better way to champion the long-standing sport than with a full apparel and footwear collection? Equipped with plenty of functional quirks that are just as good for the riverside as they are for the streets, END. x adidas are providing a contemporary take on classic angling uniform. 

Utilising two early ‘70s classic Three-Stripes grails across four colourways, the adidas Tobacco and Mocaturf silhouettes are transformed into an outdoor-centred masterpieces. Let’s get into the details!

adidas Tobacco (‘Wild Pine’ & ‘Ecru Tint’) & adidas Mocaturf (‘Wild Tint’ & ‘Sand’)

Starting with the adidas Tobacco – the palette draws inspiration from an underrated UK icon, the humble trout. Flooded in an upper of soft suede, leather hits grace the 3-Stripes and heel and lining for a texturally sophisticated persona. 

Adopting a slightly more robust exterior, the Mocaturf opts for a distressed look that derives from the authentic beauty of nature. Swapping out traditional 3-Stripes for sewn fishing lure embellishments, both the Wild Tint & Sand flaunt neutral contrast stitching for a tonal masterpiece. 

As for the apparel offering, the collection spotlights classic pieces such as cargo pants, vests, tees and sweats as well as bucket hats. It wouldn’t be a ‘Fly Fishing’ capsule without paying homage to the most popular catches of the artform (shout-out the Trout, Bass, Carp, Pike and Salmon), which are all honoured throughout the elemental colour palette.
