The clock is ticking for the next adidas YEEZY drop

It’s the long-waited drop that everyone is talking about – the reprise of the ADIDAS YEEZY. After an impressive drop back on the 31st May, fans again seem keen to get their hands on the array of potential that the next drop is sure to provide. 

As we know, adidas have been keen to wash their hands of controversy surrounding their relationship with global star Kanye West. In order to address the brands excess stockpile after they initially parted company back at the end of last year, the decision was made to release the stock back into the market and ultimately give Ye fans what they want, whilst making a load of money (a rumoured $170 million). Of course, we don’t know for certain what’s in store when it comes to specific models and colourways, but that’s what sneaker leakers are for!

Like any major online drop, speculation spreads like wildfire. Especially when it comes to adidas YEEZY, with cult supporters willing to go the extra mile to uncover any fragment of mystery. Following predictions from Instagram sneakerheads, the next drop could sport an array of subdued YEEZY boost 350/700, as well as a marble-centred iteration of the YEEZY SLIDE. 

Whether those making the prediction-makers are rounding up all previous leaks that failed to reach the market, or getting their lead from inside sources over at adidas, the untimely ending to the adidas YEEZY era is upon us.

In an attempt to salvage the mess left behind by the fall out, adidas have promised to donate a portion of the sales to the Anti-Defamation League as well as other anti-hate charities. Meanwhile, Ye debuted the new YEEZY HQ along the streets of Los Angeles – which ‘just happens’ to sit a few doors down from adidas’ flagship retail store. What are the chances, ay? Looks like the frosty relationship between the two won’t be warming up anytime soon.
