The AMBUSH x Nike Air More Uptempo Low Returns In Lilac and Black & White

Yoon Ahn is back for seconds (and thirds) with two more collaborative iterations of the AMBUSH x Nike Air More Uptempo Low, this time in a Lilac and Black & White palette.

The love affair between the alliance began back in 2017. Named as a LVMH Prize Finalist, it’s no surprise that Yoon Ah caught the attention of the Swoosh enterprise with her tokyo-inspired aesthetic. A year later, the Nike x Ambush collection was born – a line of apparel that seamlessly blurred the line between performance and style. Flaunting an inimitable steeze, the Uptempo has featured in its fair share of iconic collaborative endeavours. With that being said, not even Supreme or Serena Williams made amendments to the physical construction of the model, with the Ambush x Uptempo Limestone collaboration being the first to appear in low-top form.

Arriving as the second and third colourways of the AMBUSH x Nike Air More Uptempo Low, each palette differs significantly from the last. Expressing a predominantly lavender body, the ‘Lilac’ model colour injects bright green detailing within the ‘AIR’ branding, laces and heel tab. Red accents adopt the Swoosh elements, maintaining the silhouette’s high energy. In stark contrast is the ‘Black and White’ colourway, bringing the timeless monochromatic heat that everyone needs in their life. Closely resembling the 1996 Air More Uptempo, this collaborative sneaker implements AMBUSH’s stamp through a bold logo within the insole, tongue and heel. What’s not to love!?
