Who is ready for some history? Originally created back in 2003 to celebrate Michael Jordan’s 40th birthday, the Air Jordan 3 ‘Laser’ was an ultra-rare Player Exclusive rumoured to exist only in extremely limited numbers. For twenty-three years, collectors could only marvel at photos of MJ’s personal pair.
Now, Jordan Brand is officially opening the vault to bring this design to the public.

Let us take a look at the 2026 colourway in detail. This look is swapping out the model’s traditional elephant print mudguards and nods directly to the original. The pair replaces the typical elephant print panels on the toe and heel with premium Palomino brown suede. Rather than relying on classic colour-blocking, the new iteration functions as a canvas celebrating MJ’s career through intricate, laser-etched graphics across the entire upper.
The silhouette comes with a refined, modern build. The detailed graphics on the upper we talked about cover the off-white leather upper, accompanied by a laser-engraved Nike Air logo on the heel. Make sure to check out the photos for even more details.
The Air Jordan 3 ‘Laser’ is scheduled to drop on 22 August 2026 with a retail price of £200. Pairs will be available via Nike SNKRS as well as select retailers. Our release calendar has all the info you might need.
