The adidas Originals x Willy Chavarria SS26 Collection marks another powerful chapter in the partnership between the sportswear giant and the influential designer.

Known for weaving cultural identity, bold silhouettes and social storytelling into his work, Chavarria brings a raw emotional depth to adidas’s athletic heritage. The SS26 collection places identity and pride at its core, presenting garments and footwear that carry symbolism as much as style. Shot in Mexico City with an all-Latino cast and crew, the campaign reflects the values that drive Chavarria’s creative world – family, heritage, visibility and resilience.

A Closer Look at the adidas Originals x Willy Chavarria SS26 Collection …

The apparel in this collection strongly reflects Chavarria’s hallmark oversized forms and expressive detailing. Central to the range is the Chavarria Mockneck, crafted from a dense cotton fleece and decorated with layered Trefoil embroidery paired with a bold, high-density print of his name across the collar. Another highlight is the Chicano Sweatshirt, a deeply personal piece featuring “CHICANO” embroidery alongside a puff-printed eagle crest. The reverse side carries both a woven Trefoil and a Mexican flag appliqué – a tribute to Chavarria’s cultural roots.

Outerwear plays a significant role in SS26. A Half-zip fleece elevated with satin overlays features rose embroidery that threads Chavarria’s poetic visual language throughout the garment. The Satin Bomber arrives in an intentionally oversized shape with metal trims and padding, while a limited-release Leather Bomber turns classic sportswear into a luxury street-ready jacket, finished with contrast piping and signature 3-Stripes.

The collection continues into functional apparel such as the zip-off pants, which offer a layered, adaptable design suited for movement, expression and everyday utility.

Footwear receives an equally distinctive treatment. The Chavarria Forum Boot – available in mid and low versions – blends premium leather with rugged, urban-ready construction built upon archival adidas tooling. The regular Chavarria Forum sneaker adopts a more understated look, shaped by premium leather, gold-foil branding and a rose-branded tongue. The Jabbar Low returns in four SS26 colourways, featuring molded leather sock-liners, premium uppers and split-shoe gold callouts reading “KAREEM” and “WILLY,” linking heritage and modern design in a meaningful way.
