Nowadays, this timeless design has experienced an unexpected metamorphosis, influenced by skate sneakers from the 2000s. With its unique Formstrip and padded tongue, the Suede XL is easily recognisable. The sneaker also embraces the exaggerated aesthetics of Y2K skate culture with extra-wide laces.

Earlier this year, this silhouette created a stir while working with PLEASURES. In February of 2024, PUMA is adding a new colour variation to its standard range. Drenched in ‘Electric Blue,’ the PUMA Suede XL is contrasted with a clean white outsole, laces, interior, and Formstrip.
