The classic PUMA Suede model will have another moment this year, that is for sure. For 2026, PUMA is taking its most iconic silhouette back to its roots, but also somewhere new. In February, the brand is reuniting with the world-renowned Leeds-based tannery Charles F. Stead. Together, the collab has transformed the PUMA Suede into a genuine piece of luxury footwear that arrives in three colourways.
Here is what you need to know:

The PUMA Suede has seen countless iterations since its debut in 1968, but few feel as authentic as this one. Charles F. Stead is a well-known English tannery and legendary in the leather industry, known for producing some of the highest-quality suedes in the world.
This latest collaboration isn’t just about a new sneaker release; it’s a celebration of heritage, texture, and the art of shoemaking.
The Finest Suede in the Game?
The Charles F. Stead x PUMA Suede 2026 collection features three sophisticated palettes that lean into the natural beauty of the British-made leather. We get a ‘Honey Butter’ colourway, a classic ‘PUMA Black,’ and an ‘Orange Glow’ version.
The standout feature of this release is, unsurprisingly, the materials. Charles F. Stead has provided their signature ‘Desert’ suede, a heavyweight, high-character leather that offers a rugged yet sophisticated feel. Unlike standard versions, this suede develops a unique patina over time, meaning every pair will eventually tell its own story.
The design furthermore stays true to the Suede’s minimalist DNA, letting the quality of the leather do the talking. The iconic Formstrip is rendered in a tonal finish, while subtle gold-foil branding on the lateral side provides that classic PUMA touch. To finish things off, the shoe sits atop a clean, off-white midsole that gives the pack a timeless, vintage aesthetic.

Beyond the leather, PUMA and Charles F. Stead have doubled down on the details. Each pair features premium leather linings, waxed cotton laces, and a custom co-branded footbed. Even the tongue label has been elevated to reflect the craftsmanship involved in the collaboration.
The Charles F. Stead x PUMA Suede collection is set to launch at PUMA and selected retailers on February 28, 2026, with a retail price of approximately £100. If you’re looking to upgrade your rotation with a pair that bridges the gap between terrace culture and artisanal craft, this is the one.
