PUMA and OPEN YY Are Reviving the H-Street

PUMA is once again collaborating with Korean designer label OPEN YY for their second joint project, centred entirely around the H-Street — a retro running shoe reissued with a modern, minimalist twist

A Fresh Take on the PUMA H-Street

The OPEN YY x PUMA H-Street sneaker is available in three colourways: ‘Beige,’ ‘Blue,’ and ‘White.’ This silhouette features a sleek low-profile sole, premium nubuck overlays, and breathable mesh panels. A removable tongue label, showcasing both brands’ logos, offers versatile styling options.

The iconic PUMA Formstrip is subtly embroidered on the mid-panel, lending the shoe a refined and understated look.

Heritage and Inspiration

Originally launched in 2003, the H-Street draws inspiration from PUMA’s track & field archive, specifically the Harambee spike from the late 1990s — an ultra-lightweight racing shoe known for its bold athletic design.

In this collaboration, OPEN YY reimagines the H-Street with their signature casual-chic aesthetic and artistic sensibility, blending sport and style seamlessly.

Alongside the sneaker, OPEN YY and PUMA have also unveiled a matching apparel line. The collection includes a lightweight running vest, shorts, and a sleeveless top designed with a feminine touch.

Though crafted for everyday wear, the pieces clearly reflect their athletic origins, marrying functionality with style — a hallmark of OPEN YY’s design philosophy.

Release Details

The OPEN YY x PUMA H-Street sneaker and apparel collection will be released globally on 10 June 2025. They will be available through PUMA’s and OPEN YY’s official online stores, selected retailers, and the OPEN YY flagship store located in Seoul.
