Patta Becomes First to Collaborate on Nike’s New Cryoshot Mercurial Silhouette

Less than a week after Odumodublvck was spotted in the Patta x Nike Air Max 90 ‘Wave’, another exciting Nike collaboration has emerged — and it’s turning heads for all the right reasons. This time, it’s the Nike Cryoshot Mercurial, a completely new silhouette that bridges the gap between streetwear and football like never before.

What makes this drop particularly notable is that it marks the very first collaboration on the Cryoshot Mercurial, and it’s none other than Patta leading the charge. Patta’s co-founder, Guillaume Schmidt, has already teased a first look via Instagram, even though the sneaker is yet to receive an official release date.

Inspired by the iconic blue-and-yellow Brazilian R9 classic, the Cryoshot Mercurial retains its metallic silver leather detailing, while introducing a bold new look. The colourway previewed features striking red and orange accents, contrasted sharply against a sleek black upper. A flap covering the laces bears the Patta logo, putting the Dutch brand’s signature mark front and centre.

Following an impressive 2024 — a year in which Patta celebrated its 40th anniversary, the Amsterdam-based label is clearly not slowing down. With the Air Max 90 ‘Wave’ making waves and this new Cryoshot Mercurial collab on the horizon, 2025 is shaping up to be another standout year for the Patta x Nike partnership.
