Images of the greyscale BLAZER and LDWAFFLE from Chitose Abe’s ongoing collaboration with Nike have been circulating for a little while now, but it seems the project will be back this autumn with an eleven piece capsule that links Nike’s running history with Abe’s distinct design language. Sportswear and high fashion are effortlessly spliced together here, resulting in unusual hybridised garments for both men and women, such as the Windrunner repurposed as a draped skirt. Refreshing new takes on the classic half-zip and Tiempo short also make the cut, with a sprinkling of vintage Nike logos for good measure. The Blazer and LDWaffle will both be available in a choice of black and grey or silver and grey, with a multicoloured take on the LDWaffle also making its way into the fold.
