The Nike SB x eBay Dunk Low Makes a Return This December

The NIKE X EBAY DUNK LOW is potentially one of the most interesting drops of the ‘00s, if not all time. Only three pairs of the shoe were produced in 2003: one pair sold for $26k, one was gifted to late SB designer Sandy Bodecker as a retirement gift, and the other was cut into four pieces. Yep, we’re not sure either… 

However, just in time for the Nike Dunk’s 20th Anniversary, eBay and Nike are reissuing two versions of the special pair, coloured to resemble the marketplace’s signature logo. The new Nike SB x eBay Dunk pays homage to samples of the original pair, which was cut into pieces to protect the value of the other wearable pair and then auctioned off on eBay for an unprecedented $30,000. To commemorate the shoe’s history and SB mastermind Sandy Bodecker, eBay is releasing 10 limited-edition skateable shoe boxes. These will contain one collectors’ edition tribute pair based on the original eBay Dunk (also known as the SB Charity Dunk), a pair of the 2022 Nike SB eBay Dunk release and a commemorative saw as a nod to the original cut-up sneaker.
