Nike Revives the Diamond Turf Proto 92

Nike isn’t finished celebrating Deion ‘Prime Time’ Sanders just yet. Off the back of the excitement surrounding the Air DT Max 95, the Swoosh is reaching even further into the archives with a revamped take on the Nike Air Diamond Turf Proto 92.

A Closer Look…

This isn’t your standard retro. The Diamond Turf Proto takes cues from early samples, offering a refined design with a modern appeal. The silhouette is jet black suede, with Fire Red fabric details around the collar, and a reworked midfoot strap.

Nike’s focus on the Proto layout suggests it’s more than just a one-off. What began with a white sample has evolved into a full-on revival. There’s even a red colourway created specifically for Deion Sanders Jr., reinforcing the idea that the Proto is here to stay.

The Drop

The pair is set to drop on July 15, 2025 exclusive to Atlanta Nike members. Nodding to Sander’s Dirty Bird days.
