Nike is Set to Raise U.S. Prices Starting June 2025

Nike is stirring things up this season, however, not with a fresh silhouette or collab, but with a new pricing strategy that may not please the American sneakerheads.

As reported by Complex, the Swoosh is preparing to roll out price increases across much of its U.S. line up starting June 1, 2025. While it might only mean a $2 to $10 jump per pair, collectors and frequent buyers know how fast those numbers can stack over multiple drops.

What’s Affected?

The price increase will hit most of Nike’s footwear and apparel. But there are a few exceptions, including: Jordan Brand apparel and accessories, all kids’ footwear and apparel, any shoe priced under $100, and the Air Force 1s remain untouched for now.

Why Now?

This shift follows months of economic back-and-forth. Earlier this year, new tariffs were introduced under updated U.S. trade policies, sparking uncertainty across global supply chains. Nike seems to be making a cautious play, adapting to rising costs without making any major design or production shifts.

But let’s be real: Nike isn’t going anywhere. The brand’s cultural grip is as tight as ever. With this change, we might start seeing more selective buying, especially on general releases.

In the meantime, be sure to keep an eye on the Drop Date release calendar for more updates and releases coming soon.
