Nike Air Rift ‘Black Swan’ Elevates Ballet-Inspired Style with a Twist

Nike is adding a new chapter to its ballet-inspired lineup with the upcoming release of the Air Rift ‘Black Swan’. This colourway strays from the recent ‘Soft Pink’ edition, blending performance design with a graceful flair.

The sneaker features the Air Rift’s signature split-toe silhouette, crafted with a breathable mesh and neoprene upper. What sets this pair apart is a removable satin ribbon, designed to wrap around the ankle, channelling the full balletcore aesthetic.

A mini embroidered Swoosh sits on the toe, with additional branding appearing on the insole, midsole, and velcro strap. Comfort remains key, thanks to a lightweight Phylon midsole and durable rubber outsole. The Tabi-inspired toe gives the sneaker its unique twist.

The Drop

Nike has not yet confirmed an official release date, but the Air Rift ‘Black Swan’ is expected to drop later in 2025.
