The Nike Air Max Plus is undoubtedly better known as the TN, due to the Tuned Air system, which also found its way onto several other models. Admired and endorsed by many different groups, the shoe became synonymous with various music scenes and subcultures, particularly in the UK. Updating the Plus with Ultra technology had us perplexed: how do you streamline a bold design like the original Plus without watering down any of its unique qualities?

Clearly, there was no need to worry: this has to be one of the most successful revised editions we’ve seen. The inner-sleeve features TPU overlays for a supportive, sock-like fit, whilst the additional heel tab and tongue loop details enhance the overall shape of the original silhouette. We’ve seen multiple colours hit the shelves already, but this Triple Black edition is the smartest yet.
