The NIKE AIR MAX BW CITY PACK celebrates the return of the footwear icon from ‘91 with a little look over its colourful past. A key shoe of various subcultures across the globe, the City Pack marks three decades of the model by so far nodding to Lyon, Beijing, Rotterdam and Los Angeles. The respective cities are given a shout out in text on the back heels, with various regional details given an airing, including ‘220bpm’ on the Rotterdam drop, which notes the shoe’s huge presence in the brutally-paced gabber music scene.
