The Nike Air Max 97 Silver Bullet is Pencilled for November

It’s a great time for fans of the ‘90s-fly Silver Bullet colourway, as Nike prepare to drop the silhouette in its original metallic and red palette this winter, which was last seen in 2017. A seminal silhouette in Italian street culture and embraced by the whole world over, the late-90s shoe was inspired by speed and to be fair, still gets the hearts of the most seasoned sneaker aficionados beating. Despite being two and a half decades deep in circulation, the Air Max 97’s innovative design has stood the test of time, leaving the silhouette hard to challenge on many levels. Now, 25 years since it first broke onto the scene, the Air Max 97 returns in its throwback silver and red make-up, featuring its signature striped synthetic uppers which sit atop that instantly recognisable midsole, perfectly packed with visible air.
