The NIKE AIR MAX 90 SUPERNOVA brings NASA-style space aesthetics to the classic runner…
As many of you will know, Tinker Hatfield was the creative brains behind the Air Max 90, taking inspiration from the futuristic design of the Pompidou Center in Paris. Now in its 30th year, the Air Max 90 still looks just as fresh today as it did when it first debuted all those years ago. In these preview images, we see the 90 getting all intergalactic, with a spacey theme similar to previous releases, such as the Foamposite One Galaxy. A vivid graphic has prominence on the toe box, tongue, and collar, with contrasting black mudguards, side panels, and laces enhancing the overall vibe. The swooshes and tongue patches are rendered in metallic silver, reminiscent of NASA spacesuits and other related objects. An additional hangtag references Supernova SN2020bio – a recently-discovered addition to the astronomical charts.
