LA-born creative Melody Ehsani and her eponymous label link up with Nike for this first collaboration project, which takes place on the ever-classic Air Jordan 1 Mid. As part of the 2019 Fearless Ones collection – a series intended to illuminate stories that are connected with Michael Jordan’s career – the intention to update classic designs with contemporary and futuristic enhancements is perfectly illustrated on this release. Featuring a mix of colours from previous Jordan releases – Chicago toebox panels, Shattered Backboard heels and Royal sections on the sidewalls – pastel accents in pink, green, and bright blue give this ‘What The…’ styled release some extra prominence. A gold watch face and typography across the midsole add the perfect and unique finishing details to this strong debut collaboration.
