Calling all sneaker enthusiasts and gamers – Nike is resurrecting one of the most coveted collaborations of all time: the PlayStation x Nike Air Force 1.
Originally released in 2006 to celebrate the PlayStation 3 launch, this mythical sneaker was limited to just 150 promo pairs gifted to Sony employees and a few lucky individuals, including Kobe Bryant, who famously received a pair during his cover appearance for NBA 07: The Life. Now, nearly two decades later, rumours point to its long-awaited return in 2025.
The OG PlayStation Air Force 1 gained legendary status for its sleek black patent leather panels, reflective silver swooshes, and vibrant purple laces that echoed the console’s iconic design. Further cementing its place as a crep collectors dream, the PS logo on the heel and tongue tag stands out in all its glory. From what we can see so far, Nike seems committed to recreating the OG magic this year, sticking to the original design while maintaining the premium craftsmanship synonymous with the Air Force 1.
