We were just talking about the Nike Air Footscape Woven Chukka that’s just dropped when we learned of its low-top, woven sibling, the NIKE AIR FOOTSCAPE MOTION. While the former is available now, you’ll have to wait until late October to get your hands on these beauties, which take more obvious cues from the original Air Footscape silhouette, which dates back to 1995.
The Nike Air Footscape Motion has that familiar asymmetrical lacing system but atop a more flexible sole. We’ve seen two colourways so far: a black, and Wolf Grey shoe with some red detailing, as well as a Court Purple and black version – each sporting a speckled midsole. We’ll see if the Swoosh introduces more colourways in the next month.
The OG Nike Air Footscape was a runner designed for people with wide feet, hence the unique side-lacing system that helped slim down the appearance of the shoe. According to the company blurb, the sneaker was “Researched and developed by Nike’s advanced product engineering group and Nike sport research lab”. Sounds legit to us.
The NIKE AIR FOOTSCAPE MOTION is due to reach stores soon: keep checking back for the latest information. in the meantime, click the banner below to check the latest footwear at Nike.
